The University of Alabama’s Outdoor Recreation Program recently brought 150 new bicycles, which will be available this fall once they’re assembled. They’ll be added to the existing fleet. Students rent the bikes monthly for $15. Rentals include a lock and, if needed, a helmet.

The University of Alabama psychology department will celebrate its influential role in desegregation Friday, Sept. 30 at its first desegregation symposium. The event will begin at 3 p.m. in room 208 of Gordon Palmer Hall on the UA campus.
