UA Expands Bicycle Rental Program for Students
The University of Alabama’s Outdoor Recreation Program recently brought 150 new bicycles, which will be available this fall once they’re assembled. They’ll be added to the existing fleet. Students rent the bikes monthly for $15. Rentals include a lock and, if needed, a helmet.

The University of Alabama’s 2016 Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger drive launches Saturday, Oct. 1. The drive, which benefits the West Alabama Food Bank, has collected more than 2 million pounds of food over 20 years for those in need.
