UA, Bryant Museum to Commemorate 100th Birthday of Legendary Coach

The University of Alabama and the Bryant Museum will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of legendary coach Paul W. “Bear” Bryant with a variety of activities and events. Coach Bryant would have celebrated his centennial milestone on Sept. 11, 2013.

Dean’s List Students Named for UA Summer 2013 Term

A total of 414 students enrolled during the 2013 summer semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

UA Journalism Department Chair Greer Named Interim C&IS Dean

Dr. Jennifer Greer will serve as interim dean for the College of Communication and Information Sciences at The University of Alabama while a nationwide search is ongoing to replace the retiring Dr. Loy Singleton.
