More than 100 graduate students will present research papers and posters at the eighth annual Educational Studies in Psychology, Research Methodology, and Counseling Graduate Research Symposium, Thursday, March 31 at The University of Alabama.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — University of Alabama School of Social Work alumnus Dr. Barry Ackerson will deliver the school’s Honors Day Convocation on Friday, April 8, at UA. The convocation will be at the Bloom Hillel Student Center, 380 Ninth St., across from the Bryant Museum on the UA campus. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m.
Highly-regarded for his research and a devoted scholar, Dr. Arunava Gupta, Distinguished University Research Professor, is this year’s recipient of the Burnum Distinguished Faculty Award, one of the highest honors bestowed on professors at The University of Alabama.
