New College Ranking Places UA 7th in the Nation
A new ranking of colleges and universities ranks The University of Alabama seventh in the nation among public universities. The ranking also places UA 42nd among all national universities, both public and private.

• Spring commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, May 10 in Coleman Coliseum. Universitywide commencement ceremonies will be held at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to award degrees.
