Brewbaker Named Interim Dean of UA School of Law

William Brewbaker has been named interim dean of The University of Alabama School of Law. Brewbaker, the William Alfred Rose Professor of Law, assumed his new duties July 1, and he will continue in the interim position until a permanent dean is hired.

Carl Pinkert Named UA Vice President for Research

Dr. Carl A. Pinkert has been named vice president for research at The University of Alabama. Pinkert comes to UA from Auburn University where he has served as associate vice president for research since 2009. The appointment is effective Nov. 1.

Dean’s List Students Named for UA Spring 2013 Term

A total of 7,822 students enrolled during the 2013 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all As).
