All classes normally held in Capital Hall on UA’s Bryce Campus are postponed until 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, when the building will reopen. The building was evacuated this morning, as a precaution, following reports to UAPD of a natural gas odor. The Tuscaloosa Fire department also responded as did UA’s Office of Environmental Health
UAPD responded to reports of a natural gas odor about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday near Capital Hall on UA’s Bryce Campus. As a precaution, the building was evacuated. The Tuscaloosa Fire department also responded as did UA’s Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Classes in the building are temporarily postponed.
The University of Alabama’s Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum will showcase an exhibit featuring the works of architecture Don Buel Schuyler. The exhibit will run Nov. 8-Feb. 25.
