The College of Arts and Sciences will host a Diversity Day at the Bryant Conference Center Monday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The symposium, which is themed “Why Diversity Matters,” is open to students and faculty of all disciplines.
James Marcus, the editor of Harper’s Magazine, will present The University of Alabama’s “Hidden Humanities” lecture on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in Oliver-Barnard Hall.
The Paul R. Jones Gallery will open its newest exhibit, “Eclectic Way,” this Friday, Nov. 3. The exhibit runs through Dec. 15 and features the work of UA undergraduate students alongside works from the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art.
The University of Alabama’s Capstone Agency was awarded Best Campaign and Best Tactic in the 2017 Public Relations Student Society of America Student-Run Firm Awards. Also, UA’s PRSSA chapter was recognized nationally for its campus service.
