A team of University of Alabama engineering students is to take part in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition Design Weekend, a national contest on the leading edge of transportation research.

Paintings by contemporary realist and University of Alabama alumna Dale Kennington will be on display from Monday, Feb. 1, to Friday, March 11, at the UA Gallery in the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center in downtown Tuscaloosa.
