Capital Hall closed until Wednesday Morning

All classes normally held in Capital Hall on UA’s Bryce Campus are postponed until 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, when the building will reopen. The building was evacuated this morning, as a precaution, following reports to UAPD of a natural gas odor. The Tuscaloosa Fire department also responded as did UA’s Office of Environmental Health

UAPD responded to reports of a natural gas odor about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday near Capital Hall on UA’s Bryce Campus. As a precaution, the building was evacuated. The Tuscaloosa Fire department also responded as did UA’s Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Classes in the building are temporarily postponed.
